Short description
Bohnice is a psychological horror game where you explore an abandoned asylum, guided by a radio that captures sounds from an unknown source. The closer you listen, the more unstable reality becomes.
Full description
Bohnice is a narrative horror built around the idea that sound can be far more dangerous than what you see.
The player investigates an abandoned asylum, gradually uncovering a fragmented story through notes, objects, and long-forgotten spaces.
A handheld radio becomes your only tool for navigation—capturing strange frequencies, distorted signals, and clues that seem to bleed in from another reality. But this guide cannot be trusted.
As you explore, the environment begins to shift subtly. Sounds don't just indicate direction—they trigger events. Doors that weren't there before. Footsteps that don't belong to you. Moments where the game itself seems to react to your presence. With no combat and no classic survival systems, Bohnice relies on tension, pacing, and anticipation.
It is an experience where fear stems from uncertainty—and from the fact that you can never be sure if you should trust what you hear.
Story & setting
March 5, 1980. Alex Turner enters the abandoned Bohnice Institute with a camera, a journal and a portable radio. He wants to document what remains — and discover whether the stories are true.
Behind its doors, forgotten documents and unexplained sounds hold fragments of the institute’s past. Listen carefully. What you hear may be harder to trust than what you see.
